<p>As well as cleaning in Beverley, Jenny also covers the areas of Cottingham, Willerby, Swanland, Hessle, Brough, Kingswood, Market Weighton, Hornsea, Bilton and all of the surrounding villages in the East Riding of Yorkshire.</p>
<p>Jenny previously worked as a Marketing Manager for a construction company, before launching Ovenu in Beverley so she could be her own boss and have the flexibility to work around her other commitments.</p>
<p>Starting a business during a recession could have been risky, but Jenny found that by giving outstanding customer service and people’s ‘make and do mend’ philosophy means that many clients want to increase the life span of their old appliances rather than having to purchase new ones.</p>
<p>Jenny said: “Since starting my OVENU business two years ago I have grown my client base substantially and have established a strong reputation across the local area. Beverley has embraced my service and I’ve been winning lots of new work through referrals from existing customers.</p>
<p>“I am hoping to keep my business and customer base growing at the same rate and I am aiming to reach my 1000th clean within the next year.</p>
<p>“I have really enjoyed these past two years as the job satisfaction is really high. One of the best parts is seeing my customers’ faces once I have completed the job and I always receive excellent feedback from customers who are so happy to have a clean and safe oven again.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our oven valeting specialist Patrick Church from Paulton, near Bath is celebrating reaching his 3,500th oven clean.</p>
<p>Patrick, who’s business covers the Bath and the North East Somerset area, has been cleaning an average of 36 ovens a month since he began his franchise in 2003. Patrick had previously worked for a local ink manufacturing company before being made redundant.</p>
<p>Patrick commented: “I’m overjoyed to reach this fantastic benchmark after suffering redundancy in 2003. I’m proud to have established a strong reputation within the local community and hope to continuity providing quality service to my clients.”</p>
<p>Gill Rodgers, Patrick’s 3,500th customer, said: “Patrick arrived on time and worked hard on my 14 year old oven to restore it to almost new! He did a fantastic job and I will definitely be a regular customer. “I’m aiming to reach my 4000th clean within the next year. With the impending arrival of spring many households are preparing for the dreaded spring clean.”</p>
<p>Even for the most enthusiastic spring cleaners, donning rubber gloves and tackling the oven is still one of the most loathed household chores. If people are not thorough with their oven cleaning, fat and food can cause future problems, which could result in an oven fire.<br />
Patrick said: “As outside temperatures plummeted during the winter many people turned to their ovens for hot meals, but more you use your oven the more debris and grease can start to build up and this can affect its efficiency.”<br />
Our Ovenu valeting process is the most thorough in our industry sector and involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered equipment, which uses non-caustic products to clean the oven parts.</p>

<p>Dave, who swapped his job as an area supervisor to be his own boss back in 2010, has now delivered his environmentally-friendly cleaning service to hundreds of residential properties, including regular bookings from landlords, lettings agents and local schools.</p>
<p>To meet demand for the Ovenu service, Dave has recruited his wife Helen to arrange the administration of the business, which will enable him to spend more time at customers’ properties.</p>

<p>Colin, who recently celebrated his 5th year in business, is bucking the trend by using his environmentally-friendly cleaning service to clean an average of more than 30 ovens per month in the Woking &amp; Guildford area.</p>
<p>Colin receives regular bookings from residential clients, landlords, lettings agents and local schools leaving them with ovens, hob, extractors and microwaves that look like new.</p>
<p>Colin said: “I’m so pleased to have reached this business milestone and I’m very much looking forward to continue growing my client base even further. I’m proud that I’ve managed to establish a strong reputation within the local are and many of my new customers now come from recommendations.”</p>

<p>Andy, 33, will now manage and direct the operations of the business that serves customers throughout the West of Southampton and the New Forest.</p>
<p>Andy takes on the franchise after nine years working within the building trade in London.
