Franchise Expansion in the South West

Andrew BurdenOVENU YEOVIL SEES ROOM FOR EXPANSION FOLLOWING INCREASED DEMAND

Our Yeovil oven valeting business is planning to clean up in new surroundings after expanding its operation following an increase in business activity.

Ovenu Yeovil, which is owned by Martin McNeill, will now cover the entire West Wiltshire area with the support of a sub-contractor to keep up with the increased demand.

Andrew Burden (pictured), 45, who has more than 20 years’ experience in retail management, will expand the business by covering the West Wiltshire area with Martin operating in and around Yeovil.

Martin, 43, who has been in business for the past eight years, averages 15 oven valets a week, but now expects to increase this figure to at least 25 with the help of Andrew.

Martin said: “The business has been doing extremely well over the years, so the time was right to hire a sub-contractor to help with the day-to-day duties. I am delighted that someone as enthusiastic as Andrew is on board, which will help with the growth of the business.”

Andrew added: “The chance to manage my own schedule was important to me and I am delighted to be part of the operation, which gives me this opportunity. Having worked in retail for so long it was time for a change, and I am now looking forward to working with Martin and serving West Wiltshire.”

Ovenu Yeovil delivers its environmentally-friendly oven valeting service to homes and estate agents throughout Yeovil, including the surrounding towns and villages, as well as the entire West Wiltshire area.

Rik Hellewell, founder of Ovenu, said: “I am delighted for Martin and the success he has enjoyed in his small business. This expansion is excellent news and will put the business in good stead going forward with the addition of an experienced colleague. I would like to wish both Martin and Andrew all the best for the future.”

Our Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts. The whole process takes around three to four hours and leaves the oven, hob and extractor in immaculate condition.
