We’re often asked what the anticipated timeframe is between franchisees finishing their Induction Training with us and the first sales leads starting to come through.
It’s a great question and one that’s probably best answered in this blog by somebody who knows first-hand.
Ross Walker (above) was offered the Stonehaven territory in Aberdeenshire earlier this year and came along for Induction Training with his smart Citroen Berlingo van in September.
Here’s how Ross found things; in his own words …
“The Induction training was carried out on a 1 to 1 basis and was over a full 5 days. This covered topics like running your own business to in-house cleaning training with over 80 ovens, hobs, extractors etc. in the Ovenu Training Centre. I saw more in 2 days in the oven valeting training section than I’d probably come across in my first 2 years on the road !
I was then out cleaning ovens in client’s houses. My training manager Adam was with me for these 2 days.
Prior to getting home from the training I already had over 10 enquiries and 4 bookings for the following week and it just went from strength to strength from then. I have been doing 2-3 jobs daily since my training with appointments booked 2 weeks in advance.
My overall experience with Ovenu is well above my expectations as I never thought I would have been so busy within the first month and I wish I had done this years ago plus I would advise anyone who is thinking about the franchise opportunity to go for it as they won’t look back.”
It’s nice to get candid comments like those above …. It makes all of our hard work at Ovenu HQ worth it when we know franchisees, like Ross, get off to such a flying start; something we aim for with each and every franchisee joining our network.
